West Michigan Driving Academy is owned and operated by Bob Walters. Bob was born and raised in Muskegon County and has spent his entire 17-year teaching career at Reeths-Puffer High School. Bob has a Bachelor Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in School Administration, both from Western Michigan University. Bob will serve as both a classroom and behind-the-wheel instructor. Instructors: Jerry Campbell, a retired Supervisor from the Muskegon Correctional Facility, has taught drivers education for 15 years. Jerry provides classroom instruction as well as on-the-road instruction and is an independent road tester for the State of Michigan. Bob D. Walters has taught drivers education for 23 years as well as a retired teacher from Oakridge Schools. Bob provides classroom instructions as well as on-the-road instruction. Bob has a Masters degree in Education from Western Michigan University. Greg Henderson is a retired teacher from Fruitport Schools and has taught drivers education for 30 years. Greg provides on-the-road instruction. Greg has a Bachelor degree in Education from Central Michigan University. Wendy Henderson has taught drivers education for 5 years. Wendy provides classroom instruction as well as on-the-road instruction. Wendy teaches at Whitehall Schools and has a Bachelor Degree in Education from Central Michigan University and a Masters Degree from Western Michigan University. Jeff Hall is a teacher at Orchard View Middle School and has taught driver education for several years. Jeff provides on-the-road instruction. Matt Pallet teaches at Reeths-Puffer Middle School and has taught drivers training for 20 years. Matt provides on-the-road instruction. Mark Kutches has taught drivers education for several years. Mark provides on-the-road instruction. Mark has a Bachelor Degree in Education and is a retired teacher from Orchard View Schools. Jessy Thompson has taught drivers education for 18 years. Jessy provides classroom and on-the-road instruction. Jessy has a Bachelor Degree in Education, Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction. Austin Whelpley has taught drivers education for several years. Austin will provide classroom instruction as well as on -the-road instruction. Austin has a Bachelor Degree in Education from Ferris State University and teaches at Reeths-Puffer Schools. Nancy Dolle was born and raised in Muskegon County and has worked in the law field prior to becoming a driving instructor. Nancy will provide classroom instruction as well as on-the-road instruction. Chelsey Vanderstelt is a social worker and has a Bachelor Degree from Grand Valley State University. Chelsey will bring her inter-personal skills with her as a classroom instructor and in on-the-road instruction. Jake Kovalcik works and coaches at Reeths-Puffer High School. Jake will provide classroom instruction as well as on-the-road instruction.
